Inscription

Under this stone are deposited the remains of the Revd John Squire M.A. 33 years rector of this parish. He departed this life upon the 24th of Oct 1763 aged 63 years

and also of Ann Squire, his widow, who died upon the 27th of Feb 1779 aged 67 years

and near this spot are interred five of their children
