"I had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with Alex in 1973. He spent many, many hours riding with me and several others in Troop E. He was a true professional and loved the Patrol. He was a generous man who would do anything and everything he could to help. The quote "He never met a stranger" applied to Alex. He had a slightly off-center sense of humor that will be missed." (written by a retired Florida Trooper).
Please keep his two sisters, Barbara and Julia, and his extended family in your thoughts and prayers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Taylor and Ruth Harper Taylor. Alex is survived by sisters Julia Millard and Barbara Bezdek (Jim); two nieces and two nephews. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday May 9, at Flagler Memorial Park, 5301 WW Flagler Street, Miami, Fl., 33134.
