Eugene P. Tienor, age 68, of 538 Monroe St., Reedsville, died Monday afternoon, May 4, 2015, at home, surrounded by his family.

Eugene was born on December 3, 1946, in Manitowoc, a son of the late Peter and Isabel (Moore) Tienor.

Gene graduated from Reedsville High School with the Class of 1965 and then served in the U.S. Army for two tours in Vietnam. On September 8, 1972, he married Georgeen (Welch) Trinka at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Reedsville. Gene was known as "Big T" when he was a semi truck driver for 20 years with the Manitowoc Crane Co., retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Rockea Hunting Club, Reedway Sportsman Club, AMVETS Post #1032 and American Legion Post #199, both of Reedsville and the Friends of St. Patrick's. Gene enjoyed dartball, hunting, and camping.

Survivors include his wife Georgeen Tienor, Reedsville; stepdaughter: Roxanne (Trinka) and Allen Riesterer, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Brooke Riesterer, Milwaukee, Ryan Riesterer, Manitowoc and Dana Riesterer, Milwaukee; and three super great grandchildren: Noah, Aubriana and Breon. He is further survived by his sisters: Rose Ann (Paul) Gintner, Valders, Catherine (Lloyd) Cook, Kewauskum, Arlein (Robert) Werdeo, Wausaukee, Theresa (Robert) Rabe, Howards Grove, Judith (Marvin) Kandler, Hilbert, Julia (Charles) Peppard, Manitowoc and Sharon Halbach, Reedsville; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by Georgeen's first husband: Frank Trinka; Ryan Riesterer's partner: Perla Arostegui; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Thomas and Ruth Welch; sister-in-law: Darlene (Phil) Mullins; brother-in-law: Leroy (Grace) Welch; brother: Wenzel (Mabel) Tienor and brother-in-law: Ken Halbach.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Holy Family Parish, 1100 West Ryan Street, Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Timothy Brandt, with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Reedsville. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Thursday evening, May 7, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m. A prayer service concluding the visitation will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30.
