Ms. Bobbie Burke Lee, 72, passed away at her home on Friday, May 8, 2015 under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
The Jenkins County native was the daughter of Fett Burke Sr. and Bertie Lee Chance Burke.
For over thirty years she worked as scheduler for Sylvania Yarn Systems. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and her animals were her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Yvone “Boots” Burke and Fett “Buddy” Burke Jr.
She is survived by her children, Scott & Cynthia B. Lee of Sylvania and Phelan & Darlene Dyches of Waynesboro, grandchildren; Megan Lee and Jake Lee of Sylvania, sister-in-law, Becky Burke of Bloomingdale, nieces and nephews; Victor & Connie Burke of Richmond Hill, and Shannon & Paula Summerlin of Savannah.
Services will be held, Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11am, with visitation for two hours prior, from 9-11am with Rev. Joey Fennell officiating.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Pam & Wyman Harley, Vickie Waters, Cookie & Douglass Bragg, and Charles Rooks.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, GA, 30458.
