TILSON, PHILMA N. 93, of Orlando, FL, passed away at home on Thursday, April 9, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beautiful and sweet mother and grandmother, and we will truly miss her. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 59 years, Edward F. Tilson. She was born on March 7, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY to Susan and Ralph Imbriani. She is survived by three daughters: Gwen Boyce (Ralph) of Seffner, FL, Harriet Crawford (Jim) of Altamonte Springs, Fl, Mary Elizabeth Tilson of Orlando, FL. Son, Edward Tilson (Mary) of Ft. Myers, FL, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, sisters, Ann Dickson of Winter Park, FL, Rosalie Nicholson of Merritt Island, FL, Millie Castanien of Riverdale, GA, Brother, Ralph Imbriani of Orlando, FL, and many nieces and nephews. She was a longtime resident of Winter Park, FL and was retired from Ivey's Dept. Store. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to: Cornerstone Hospice, 108 America Street, Orlando, FL 32801.
A celebration of her life service will be held on Sat. April 18, 2009 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 526 N. Park Ave, Winter Park, at 9:30am.
