Former Resident Dies
Cloyd J. Postlewait, who farmed southwest of Emporia from 1915 until 1948, died Tuesday in an Oregon hospital. He had lived in Oregon since leavIng Emporia, and in Canby, Ore., for the past 10 years. Funeral services were held Friday in Canby with burial in Zion Memorial Park.
Mr. Postlewait was born May 22nd, 1879, in Bethany, Mo., and married Hannah Grace Lytle Nov. 17th, 1909, in Hutchinson.
Surviving are his wife, of the home, 654 N. W. Third St., Canby; three sons and one daughter, Fred, Robert and Mable of Canby, and John of Oregon City;
nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
