TOM CHURCH
Of 706 13th St., an employee of the Lafferty Trucking Co., died at 10:55 o'clock Monday evening in Mercy hospital where he was admitted three weeks ago after having been in failing health for the past two years. He was born at Puritan, near Portage, May 10, 1890, a son of John and Eda (Norburn) Church, and had resided in Altoona for the past eight years. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Annie (McNickle) Church; one daughter and six sons, Mrs. Eda Catherine Wolf, John and Edward of Baltimore, Md., George of Pittsburgh, Tom of Altoona, Franklin at home, and Wilmer, in the middle west; one brother and four sisters, John A. of Willard, O., Mrs. William Fish of Corning, N. Y.. Mrs. Pauline Seabolt and Mrs. George Hogan of Portage and Mrs. Gerald Makin of South Fork. Mr. Church was a member of the First Baptist church. Friends will be received at the Gilden-Barton funeral home after noon Wednesday.
