Henry G Withers; Was Insurance Agent
Poland - Henry G Withers, 74 of 9501 Springfield Road died of a stroke at 2:10 pm Tuesday in South Side Hospital after a one month illness.
Mr Withers was born Aug 27, 1906 in Boardman, a son of Jacob and Tema Schiller Withers. He was an agent for Nationwide Insurance Co for 25 years, retiring in 1971. He was an Episcopalian, was a member of the Boulevard Golf League and the Mohawk Senior citizens Golf League.
Beside his wife, the former Dorothy Ruth Jones, who he married Feb 8, 1931, he leaves three daughters, Mrs Mary Ann Mikesell of Orange Park, Fla, Mrs Sandar J Brownlee of Defiance, and Mrs Betty Jorgenson of West Palm Beach Fla; a son Steven A of Poland; a brother, Russell E of Salem; and seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
