Charles Currier, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Currier, left a week ago last Friday for West Baden, Indiana, for treatment. A week later his parents received a dispatch saying he had died of heart failure. The body arrived here on Monday noon The funeral will be held on Tuesday from the Currier home at 2 o'clock p.m. Charles Currier was one of the eight Oregon boys who went to Porto Rico (sp) and took part in the Spanish war. He was a member of the Sons of Veterans camp here and of Illinois National Guards Company M.
