Born in Norway, Mrs. Rasmussen came to America with her parents when a small girl. The family settled in Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Rasmussen resided there until 27 years of age. She then moved to Portland and shortly after her arrival met and married Mr. Rasmussen. The couple have lived in Portland the past 50 years.
Mrs. Rasmussen was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church. She lived with her family at 380 East Eleventh street North.
Besides the widower, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hopkin Jenkins, and three sons, Hardy D. and Sidney C. of Portland and Ralph W. of Seattle, Wash.
