Mrs. Frank Blimel, 65, died suddenly Sunday afternoon at her home in the town of Kossuth.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Blimel home and at 10 a.m. at the St. Ann Catholic church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Blimel, nee Caroline Augustine, was born in 1881 in Kossuth. In 1902 she was married to Frank Blimel and they located on a farm in Kossuth.
Mr. Blimel survives with four daughters, Mrs. Vernon Steinbrecker, Mrs. Emil Shoulak, Mrs. Roland Peltier and Mrs. Roman Koeppel of Manitowoc; one son LeRoy of Manitowoc; one brother, Charles of Manitowoc; and eight grandchildren.
Mrs. Blimel was a member of the Holy Rosary society and the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
The rosary will be recited at the Blimel home at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The body will be moved from the Husar funeral home, Kellnersville, to the Blimel home this afternoon, and may be viewed after 6 p.m. this evening.
