LEROY BLIMEL

LeRoy Blimmel, 41, of 1137 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning at the
Holy Family Hospital following a heart attack. Mr. Blimmel was born Jan. 31,
1914, at Francis Creek, where he married the former Dorothy Shimek in 1941.
The couple moved to Manitowoc shortly after where he was employed by the E.W.
Braunel Plumbing Co.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Ellen, Kay, and a son, Gary; four
sisters, Mrs. Vernon Steinbrecher and Mrs. Emil Shoulak of Manitowoc and Mrs.
Roland Peltier and Mrs. Roman Koeppel of Francis Creek.
Mr. Blimmel was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Funeral arrangements will be completed Tuesday by the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home.

Funeral services for LeRoy Blimmel, 41, of 1137 S. 26th St., Manitowoc who died
Monday, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John
Landowski will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will
be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday by the Holy Name Society and the Daughters of
Isabella.
