CAROLINE BRAUN

Mrs. Caroline Braun, 94, a lifelong resident of Manitowoc County, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Guex of Rt. 1, Mishicot, with whom she made her home the past 23 years.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Specht Funeral Home, Mishicot, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, the Rev. George F. Beth officiating. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Francis Creek.
Mrs. Braun, nee Caroline Klein, was born at Cato in 1861, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Klein. She was married on Dec. 31, 1895, to Anton Braun at Clarks Mills, the couple taking up residence on a farm at Rockwood. Her husband preceded her in death 29 years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Braun are three daughters, Mrs. Edward Guex of R. 1,Mishicot, Mrs. Ariel Nelson of Mishicot and Mrs. Julia Lallement of Green Bay; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
