Mrs. Nora (Mimie) Nelson, age 95, village of Mishicot, died Tuesday morning, April 7, 1992, at Hamilton Memorial Home.
Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. Thursday, Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Msgr. James Feely, officiates. Burial in parish cemetery.
She was born on Nov. 29, 1896, in the town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Anton and Caroline Klien Braun. She was married June 5, 1916, to Louis Staudinger. He preceded her in death in 1928. On Oct. 16, 1931, she was married to Ariel Nelson. He preceded her in death in 1976. She is honorary member of the Mishicot VFW and the Gold Star Mothers. She is also a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Staudinger, and Melvin and Jean Staudinger, both of Mishicot; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Violet and Floyd Skubal, and Adele and Sonny Zeman, of Two Rivers; JoAnn and Daniel Lambert, Mishicot; one sister, Mrs. Olga Guex, Mishicot. She has 26 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son Louis and a daughter Janette Free, one grandson, one brother, one sister, one daughter-in-law, and one son-in-law.
Friends may call Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, and Thursday until we leave for the church at 10:30 a.m. Parish memorial service 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
