CASPER E. HILLMAN
Services for Casper E. Hillman, 83, of Route 4, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the East Freeborn Lutheran Church. Interment in the East Freeborn Cemetery.
Mr. Hillman died Wednesday at Naeve Hospital.
He was born December 6, 1894 in Freeborn County, the son of Aaron and Sophia Hillman. He was a lifelong resident of Worth and Freeborn Counties.
Mr. Hillman married Bertha Larson on Jan. 16, 1916 in the Shell Rock Lutheran Church near Northwood, Iowa.
He was a member of the East Freeborn Lutheran Church, served on the District 22 school board and also on the Bancroft Township Board for many years.
Survivors include; One daughter; Mrs. Orvin (Sylvia) Stadheim of Ellendale; Two sons; Kenneth B. of Glenville
John A. of Albert Lea; One brother; Guy of Grand Meadows
Three sisters; Mrs. Martha Fredrickson of Manley, Iowa
Mrs. Oscar Gabriel of Brownsdale, Mrs. Fritz Torgerson of Northwood, Iowa; Five grandchildren; Seven great-grandchildren
