Jill was educated at High Point Central High School where she was an all-conference soccer player and honor student. She went on via a full tuition scholarship to the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she majored in business administration. She also received a degree in accounting from the University of Washington in Seattle. Following graduation, Jill worked in Washington, D.C. for Coca Cola before returning to North Carolina to be married. Jill always looked for the good in people and remained active in community service throughout her life. She served as an elder at First Presbyterian Church. Humble, caring, gentle, and witty, Jill loved children and animals and cooking and celebrations of any type. Her effortless charm and infectious, seemingly permanent smile were second only to the unwavering devotion and kindness she bestowed upon her family and friends. Her love for her children will be everlasting, and her expressions of love to so many will be greatly missed. She was a truly wonderful mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and wife and was cherished by her entire family.
