First in Berlin with Tatjana Gsovsky ballet training and 1944 made her stage debut as a dancer in Göttingen. From 1945 to 1947, she worked at the Berlin State Opera. Until 1947, Walters turned to the theatre. in 1951 she was brought Gründgens by Gustaf at the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus, whose ensemble she remained until 1955. Further stages in their career were Frankfurt, Hamburg, München, Hannover, Köln, Wien and the German Theatre in Santiago de Chile, where she worked in 1961 for a year as a Director and directed Max Frisch's Biedermann and the arsonists.

As early as 1947, Wiedemann made her film debut.
