Ivan Deo Callahan 1923 ~ 2005
On Sunday April 17, 2005, Ivan Deo Callahan returned to his Heavenly Father's arms. Ivan was born May 24, 1923 in Dysart, Iowa to John Everett and Beatrice J. Callahan. Ivan will be remembered for his red hair, his sense of humor and his charm. But most of all for the love he had for his son and grandsons.
Ivan was preceded in death by his wife Alice Vigen, his parents and his three brothers Russell, Warren and Mark.
He is survived by his son Michael Olpin Callahan (mother Helen Olpin Snow Callahan) his wife Carole and five grandsons Blaine, Skyler, Kameron, Derek and Shawn.
Ivan has generously donated his body the University of Utah and there will be no services. Our thanks to the kind staff at Avalon Rehabilitation Center.
