Mrs. May Balding passed away suddenly at her home in Albion Tuesday afternoon, apparently from a heart attack. The funeral will be held from Nale's Funeral Home Friday afternoon at 2:00
o'clock, with Rev. Dale Wolcott officiating.
Mrs. Balding was born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gawthorp in Ed-
wards county on July 20, 1893. She was married to Elbert Balding, who passed away in 1954. One daughter Mrs. Beulah Mills, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, George Balding of Albion and Ray of Champaign; two grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Mary
Sams of West Salem;four brothers, William and Roy Gawthorp of Albion, Charles of West Salem and Elbert of Samsville.
. Interment will be at the Moravian Cemetery at West Salem.
