Mrs. Kerlin was born March 19, 1883, in Portage, Wis., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bowler. She was married to Emery Kerlin Nov. 20, 1907, in Rockford. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and the auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene Burke, Freeport; a son, Kenneth, Fort Dodge, IA; four grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Bowler, Rockford.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in the Burke-Tubbs funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr C. F. Conley, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock Saturday.
