Harry Watt Lemons, 81, of Mayodan, NC, was a son of the late Frank and Mollie Craddock Lemons. He was retired from the Town of Mayodan with 20 years of service and had previously worked 20 years for Washington Mills, Inc. He was a longtime member of Mayodan Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a Sunday school teacher for more than 50 years. He dedicated his life to visiting shut-ins, the sick and residents in nursing homes, and he enjoyed gardening and sharing his crop with friends and neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Wavie Case Lemons; brothers Avery, James, Luther, Robert, Howard and Dewey Lemons; and sisters Ellen Brown, Estelle Lemons and Kate Black. Survivors include son Gary Lemons and wife, Carol, of Madison, NC; sisters Eunice Adkins of Mayodan and Garnett Dalton of Walnut Cove, NC.
