Ruth "Betty" Hinners, 76, of 410 Eastland Court died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, at her home.
Born Nov. 2, 1923, in Peoria to James and Elizabeth Herring Alyward, she married Charles G. Hinners on Sept. 15, 1948, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Glenn (and Lorie) Hinners of Bellevue; one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Beverly) Wolf of Peoria; and three sisters, Margaret Ruckle of Peoria, and Kate (and Everett) Auten and Lucille (and Delmer) Lauterbach, both of Bartonville.
Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
She worked for 15 years in the laundry at Bel-Wood Nursing Home.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
