Dorothy C. Soptic, 79, Kansas City, KS, died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at Providence Medical Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, at Christ the King Catholic Church; burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church where the rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. The family suggests contributions to Catholic Charities Hospice.
Mrs. Soptic was born in Moreland, KS, and had lived in Kansas City, KS, most of her life.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, the Altar Society, the Solo Club and the Go Getters Club, all at the church. She was also a volunteer at Providence Medical Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Madelon S. Riley of Encinitas, CA, and Vicki A. Brown of Bonner Springs, KS; a sister, Helen Strick of Kansas City, KS; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
