Edith Cary Passes Away in Stockton
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon in Stockton for Mrs. Edith E. Cary, 74, a former Lodi resident who died Friday night in a Stockton convalescent home.
Mrs. Cary, a native of Missouri, came to Lodi in the early 1920's. residing at 324 1/2 Louie ave., with her husband, the late Ezra L. Cary. She moved to Stockton about seven years ago.
She was a member of the Woodbridge Rebekah Lodge and of the Hartford Women's Relief Corps.
She was the mother of Mrs. Neva Logue, Vern Cary, Charles Cary, Mrs. Norma Bergstrom, and Mrs. Agnes Coon, all of Stockton; and Glen Cary, Calistoga. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Wednesday in the Frisbie and Warren funeral chapel, Stockton with burial to follow in Cherokee Memorial Park.
