Janrita (Mellen) Clemison, 65, of Muhlenberg Township, died June 7, 2015 at Laurel Center, Hamburg.
She was the wife of Daniel J. Clemison.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Marion (Shunk) Mellen.
She was a graduate of Governor Mifflin and Reading-Muhlenberg Vo-Tech School of Nursing.
Janrita was a licensed practical nurse working as a respiratory technician at St. Joseph Hospital. She previously was the former co-owner of the Hot Dog Stop in Reading; Andrew’s Italian Sandwich Shop and Top Shop T-Shirt Co.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Matthew W., husband of Jennifer Mellen, West Reading, John D. Clemison and David W. Clemison, both of Reading; two siblings, William, husband of Carol Mellen, Boyertown and Kelly, wife of Richard Ravel, Wyomissing; and seven grandchildren: Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Steven, Angel, Parker and Josiah.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 527 Washington St, Reading, PA 19601. Burial will be private.
