George Washington Page followed his brother-in-law, Al Sherman, to Duplain Township, where he farmed the rest of his life; the farm was located on the Ridge Road, the second farm to the east (not the farm on the corner). The original contributor of this memorial was correct; Jane Sherman Page married Hiram Curtis after the death of George Washington Page in 1901. Jane and George had six children together: Sherman, Orland, Roselinda (or Rose Linda); Allan (as he signed it on his daughter's death certificate; var. Allen), Melinda, and Reed. We are fortunate to have two photos of Jane, the second will be posted at a later date, as will a photo of the Curtis marker.

Jane's parents were from Vermont.
