Mrs. Catherine D. Pottenburgh, widow of the late Jacob Pottenburgh, and step-mother of the late Jacob H. Pottenburgh, of Rhinebeck, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. E. Thrall in Poughkeepsie this week. Mrs. Pottenburgh was 94 years of age and had been in failing health because of her advanced years for the past year. She had made her home in Poughkeepsie for the past thirty eight years and was a member of the Methodist church of this village. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thrall, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. L. A. Myers of Lynn, Mass, Funeral services were held at the late home this Friday afternoon with the Rev. George H. Cheseboro, pastor of the Hedding Methodist church. officiating. The burial was in Rhinebeck cemetery.
