On December 19, 1901 she was married to Mr. John Mesner. Nine sons and two daughters were born to this union, two sons proceeding her in death.
After ten day's illness with Spanish influenza, Mrs. Mesner died Thursday, December 12, 1918. at the aye of 41 years, 7 months and 19 days, at the farm home, near Germantown.
A private funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon by Rev. F. W. Potratz, of the Germantown Lutheran Church. A sad circumstance in this family is that all the children have been ill with the infuinza and have recovered, but the mother did not survive. Besides the husband, nine children live to mourn the death of a good wife and mother.
