Susan "Scooper" (Pyle) Black, 45, of Kittanning, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born Nov. 18, 1969, in Kittanning, daughter of Theodore and Janet Pyle. She was a family counselor and she loved to read and spend time with family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Eddy Black; parents, Theodore and Janet Pyle; brother, Jeffery (Michele) Pyle; sister, Stacey (Todd) Johnson; nieces, Lauren and Kathryn; nephews, Tanner and Theodore; mother-in-law, Audrey Black; grandmother-in-law, Esther Clever; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her faithful best friend, Zeus. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boarts and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Pyle; father-in-law, Terry Black; uncle, Richard "Tank" Boarts; and cousin, Mary Boarts. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A luncheon will follow the committal service at the Rayburn Township Volunteer Fire Department. Interment will be in Pine Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
