Born March 14, 1898 in Carmi. Ill., he had lived at Dallas Center and Jamaica before moving to Perry. He was a retired farmer and a member of the First Assembly of God Church. His wife, Nettie, preceded him in death on Feb. 12, 1986.
Survivors include three daughters, Louise Tuttle of Ankeny, Darlene Agee of Des Moines and Joan Rogers of Conway, Mo.; two sons, Robert W. of Bouton and Donald of Dallas Center; 23 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
