MARY JOAN ROGERS, daughter of Dewey and Nettie Leggitt Renshaw, was born December 2, 1935, in Dallas Center, Iowa and entered her heavenly home September 3, 2021, in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of eighty-five years.
Joan, as she was known to family and friends, studied music at Drake University, and taught piano for many years. She owned Concrete Charms and Floral in Conway for over ten years. She loved being outdoors and summer was her favorite season. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and was a phenomenal cook. She lived for her children, and everything she did was for them.
Joan was a member of Conway First Baptist Church for over fifty years where she was the church pianist.
On January 18, 1963, she was united in marriage with Roy V. Rogers, where she lived a rewarding life raising their eight children.
Joan is survived by: her children: Janice Clark and husband Jerry, Kyle and wife Stacey, Kayla and Kendra Clark, Barbara Redburn - Mandy and husband Jason Peters, Mark and wife Liz Atkinson, Matthew Rogers and wife Alisa - Kelson, Simon, Isabel and Harrison Rogers, Melissa Davis and husband Donald – Hillary Kraft, Holly Beitler, Luke Kenworthy and wife Heather, Paige, Logan Davis, David Rogers and wife Chrissy, - Alex, Abby and Molly, Paula Lumley of California – Ash Leigh and husband Luke Anderson, Josh Lumley, Sarah Papineau and husband Chris – Jack and Nicholas, Jennifer Stein and husband – Kristopher Netroy, Jonah, Justice David, Axl Roy, Lily Stein. Great Grand Children: Marshall, Aiden, Evan, Avery, Mason, Macie, Emery and Daxon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; brothers Robert and Don, and sisters Louise and Darlene.
