John B. Vaughn, 81, pioneer local teamster, died at 4:30 a.m. at his home on 406 North Madison Street following several weeks' illness from a heart ailment.
Vaughn had spent his entire life in this city. He was member of the Central Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marilda Vaughn; two daughters, Mrs John Webster and Mrs R. L. Boatright of this city; a son, J. Byford Vaughn of this city and a step-son, Fred J. Roberts of this city' four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs Mildred White of this city.
Funeral was held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Boatright.
