Matilda "Tillie" Boatright, 69, of 600 E. Oak St., West Frankfort, died at 12:25 a.m. today in the Franklin Skilled Care Nursing Unit in Benton.
Mrs. Boatright was a member of the Second Baptist Church in West Frankfort.
She was born July 23, 1905 in West Frankfort to John and Matilda Smith Vaughn. She was married to Leeman Boatright April 19, 1928 in Marion.
A sister, brother and one great-granddaughter preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, the Rev. Fred M. Boatright of St. Louis, Mo., and John T. Anderson of Marion; a daughter, Betty Scheffler of St. Paul, Minn.; a brother James Vaughn of Festus, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Second Baptist Church in West Frankfort. The Rev. Fred M. Boatright and the Rev. Bruce McNeely will officiate. Burial will be in Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort. Friends may call after 5 p.m, Tuesday at the parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort, and afternoon Wednesday at the church.
