Mrs. Maria Diebolt, mother of Mrs. Geo. Boser Jr., who lives about four miles north west of Pierz, died Tuesday afternoon, at the age of 86. She was born in Bavaria, Germany, came to America in 1879 lived in Brooklyn, N.Y. until 1881, when she came to Pierz and has since then made her home with her daughter. The funeral was held from the St. Joseph's church this morning at 9 o'clock.

Margaretha Neuner was born in Hubenberg, Bayreuth, Bavaria, the daughter of Johann Neuner b. July 12, 1785 in Hubenberg, and Margareta Walling, b. abt 1800 in Breitenslesau, Bayreuth, Bavaria. Her father, Johann Neuner, had been previously married to Margaretha Wolfarth who died in 1822. Johann Neuner then married Margaretha Walling on April 23, 1823 in Waischenfeld, Bayreuth, Bavaria.
