Helen was born in 1904 and married in 1929 to Joe Thompson. She worked various jobs until retiring. I met her while living in a rooming house in Kearny, NJ. She was dear to me. She had a friend name Lil that she kept in touch with sometimes that lived in Toms River but I lost contact and she is probably gone now too. She had such a wonderful sense of humor and was so good to talk to. We became close and I did as much as I could for her. She did live in Florida for a short time after Joe passed and before I met her. But I think she was from Jersey City originally but I know she said they lived there and used to have a little dog that would put his paws together like to say grace before they ate...smile. She had a young woman who she really didn't see much anymore toward the end, Lori....Lori lost contact...Lori would call her aunt Helen.

My dear Helen...she had no family left when she passed and I'm not even sure where she is buried...it's an unmarked grave somewhere in or near South Jersey. RIP my Helen from Bunny
