By David Alexander Slater Brechin in memory og his father George Alexander who died 20th June 1794 Aged thirty two years. And of his mother ary Carnegie who died in February 1844 aged 76 years. also to that of his Uncle David Carnegie Slater Brechin who died 4th April 1828 aged seventy four years: and of Mary Davidson spouse to David Carnegie who died 8th Nov: 1824 aged seventy years. This stone also marks the resting place of David Alexander Slater who died 7th April 1841 aged 48 years. And Ann Low his spouse who died 10th Jan 1859 aged 71 years. Ans their children. Joseph who died 27 Decr 1847. aged 26 years. John who died 18th Jany 1837 aged 9 years. Charles who died 6th June 1842 aged 9 years.
