"Bequeathed to his son, WILLIAM, three negroes; to his daughter, SUSANNAH MURRAY, 2 negroes; to his daughter ELIZABETH MCCALL, 2 slaves as well as son JAMES H., daughter ANN GODBOLD, daughter RACHEL MCCANTS, daughter GRACEY BROWN and daughter AGNES C. FINKLEY. My old and faithful slave, JUBITER, to be left at liberty to live with any of my children. Appointed sons WILLIAM and JAMES H. MULDROW as executors. Signed 18 Sept. 1838. Wit: JACOB L. PRITCHETT and WALTER R. ROSS. Proven 2 Mc. 1842."
