Margaret Peggy E. Mertl, 85, of Allentown, passed away on April 7, 2011 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born in Lanark, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mary (Keglovitz) Mertl.
She was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church, Allentown. She was a sewing machine operator at Modern Pants, Allentown.
Survivors: Sister, Evelyn D. Mertl, with whom she resided; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
Services: Tuesday 10:15 a.m. at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 1629 Hamilton Street, Allentown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Pauls Catholic Church, 920 S. 2nd Street, Allentown, 18103. Calling hour 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Limeport.
