Mrs. Mae Maxine Newberry died Monday, May 20, at St. Mary’s hospital where she had been a patient for two days.
She was born June 25, 1911, at Cayuga, Ind., a daughter of George and Minnie Bedinger.
On Nov. 29, 1929, she was married to George Newberry at Kentland, Ind.
Surviving include the husband, her mother of Sheldon, nine children; Mrs. Barbara Zelhart and Mrs. Betty Tedford, both of Momence, Mrs. John Buffington of Streator, Donald Gene of Springfield, James, Jack, Richard, Philip and Franklin, all at home.
Also brothers, Joe and Woodie Bedinger of Kentland, Ind., and Frank of San Francisco, Calif.
A sister, Mrs. Downalle Frazier of Indianapolis, Ind., and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Newberry will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. from the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul C. Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in the Momence cemetery.
The Canaday-Boos Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
