PEORIA - Charles W. Castle, 65, of Peoria passed away at 3:48 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.Chuck was born on Feb. 22, 1950, in Peoria to the late Francis J. and Alice M. (Christy) Castle. He married Barbara Crowe on June 21, 1969, at St. Bernard Catholic Church. She survives. He is also survived by one daughter, Pam Castle of Davenport, Iowa; two grandchildren, Cordell (Missy) and Morgan Castle; one great-grandchild, Aiden Castle; four sisters, Toni (Jon) Bateman of Princeville, Michelle (Marshall) Wilcoxen of North Carolina, Christy Smith of Peoria and Danielle (Rob) Ingle of Princeville.He was preceded in death by one son, Chad Castle; one sister, Jeri Moore; one nephew, Tyler Ingle; and one brother-in-law, Everett Smith.Chuck worked as a meat cutter for 27 years and was the owner/operator of Castle's Patio Inn for the past 21 years. He loved spending time with his family, vacationing in Gulf Shores, and pulling practical jokes on his customers. In accordance with Chuck's wishes, there will be no services, and cremation rites have been accorded.
