Mrs. Anna Finch, Newark Valley, died at midnight Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Whittier, Painted Post, RD 1, which whom she had been visiting for the past month. She was born in 1868 in Moravia, NY, and was 82 years old last November 2. Her parents were Thomas and Hanna Quick Vandermark. She is the widow of Edgar Finch. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Jesse Whittier, Mrs. Flora Cornell of Newark Valley, Mrs. Amanda Hendrickson and Mrs. Mary Hubbard of Richford, Mrs. Pearl Jones of Elmira, and Mrs. Jennie Personius of Corning; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The body was removed from the Stevens Funeral Home Sunday afternoon to the Smith Funeral Home at Richford where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Caroline Cemetery near Ithaca.
