"LOCKPORT, July 28 — Apparently run over by a train, the body of Adolph Karch, 42, assistant-manager of the Hotel Kenmore here, was found this afternoon on the tracks of the International Rail Route just outside the city limits. Coroner Frank A. Kitcineer is investigating.
Karch had left the hotel, where he lives, at 8 this morning, and had not been heard from since.
John Redner, Lockport, discovered the body. Police tonight were not prepared to say whether Karch had committed suicide, since the position of the body might have been due to accident, it was said. Formerly of the staff of the Hotel Rochester, in Rochester, Karch came here April 1. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 tomorrow afternoon from the hotel. Burial will be made at Cold Springs Cemetery here."
