Allan grew up in Brookfield, Illinois, where he attended St. Joseph High school in Westchester Illinois, and graduated from the University of Phoenix with a degree in Drafting. Allan was a true romantic he would tell people that his life really started the day he met the love of his life, Irina. Allen was always an upbeat and positive person, not matter the circumstances. He enjoyed spending time in the garden helping Irina plant flowers. His true passion was building and collecting model trains. Allan was known for his honesty and caring attitude towards others. He lived life to the fullest every single day. He worked for Weber-Stephen Products Co. for more than eight years as their senior design engineer.
Allen is survived by his wife Irina (Fonta) Anderson, his mother Gertrude Anderson, his brothers and sisters: Ralph (Debra) Anderson, Carol (robert) Haak, Phil Anderson, Susan (Mike) Krischler, Marilyn (Mark) Penick his sons Raul (Marta), Sebastian (Manula) Trenka and my many niece and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 16, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with services starting at 7:00 PM at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, Illinois 60120. Interment will be Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, Illinois 60126.
