A mother whose two sons became treasurers of Nebraska counties died in a hospital here Monday morning. She was Mrs. Mae Theobald, eighty-four. Furnas County Treasurer C.V. Theobald of Beaver City, and Adams County Treasurer A.J. Theobald of Hastings, are her sons.
Her body lay in state at Beaver City Monday afternoon. Funeral services will be held in Hastings Tuesday afternoon - Press Dispatch.Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Miller and Mrs. Edna Wolcott attended the funeral of Mrs. Theobald at Hastings Tuesday afternoon.
They were neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad (Mae) Theobald when the Theobalds resided four miles south of Strang. The Theobalds moved from that locality twenty of more years ago.There were four sons and one daughter in the family. Harry Theobald, residing southwest of Geneva, is a nephew.
