Mary "Polly" (Ann or Gardner**) was born on July 21, 1790, in Goochland, Goochland County, Virginia, her father, Robert Poor, was 27, and her mother, Elizabeth Mims Poor, was 21. Her siblings are Col Woodson Poor, Robert E Poor, James Poor, Elizabeth Poor, Nancy Poor, William M Poor, Martha Poor.
