Mrs. E.P. Ring
Mrs. E.P. Ring, whose death occurred in her home in Medford on January 21st, was one of the old and highly respected residents of the northern part of the county. She was born August 26, 1839 at Otsetic, New York. His [sic] marriage with Henry Duncan took place in December 1857. They came to Minnesota in August 1863, at first settling on a farm in Walcott, Rice county. A little later they removed to Clinton Falls which was their home until their removal to Medford in 1893. Mr. Duncan departed this life in January 1907. The deceased was married to E.P. Ring last September.
Mrs. Ring is survived by her husband and four children, the later being Mrs. Richard Cheeseman of Oak Grove, Alabama; E.C. Duncan of Wessington, South Dakota; Mrs. Henry Cheeseman of Owatonna and O.R. Duncan of Parkville, Wyoming.
She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. T.H. Griffin of Clinton Falls, Mrs. J.L. House of Minneapolis and Mrs. G. Brown of New York.
