AMELIA L. RANKIN

Friends of Amelia Loomis Rankin, a one-time Portland resident and daughter of a pioneer Pacific Northwest family, have been advised of her death in Long Beach, Calif.

Mrs. Rankin was born in 1880 in Long Beach, Wash., and lived in Portland until 1933. She is survived by her widower, Howard, and two sons, all of California.

Funeral will be Saturday in Long Beach, Calif.
