Birth year is an approximation
June 5, 1880, Egg Harbor, Door, Wisconsin
Chas. Konitzer, a farmer, age 52 and wife Caroline, age 53, lived with their children: son William Konitzer, age 30, woodworker; daughter Annie Konitzer, age 14, servant, born in Germany and adopted son Louie Papillion, age 3, born in Wisconsin, birth parents born in France.
The mother of Wm. Kontizer, Egg Harbor, died at the home of her son on Sunday morning, of dropsy, she being about sixty-three years of age. She had been ill for a long time, and death was no doubt a welcome release from a bed of pain and suffering. The funeral took place from the late home of the deceased on Tuesday, the remains being deposited in the town cemetery of Egg Harbor. The husband preceded Mrs. Konitzer on the 7th day of November, 1880.
