WEST COLUMBIA -- Services for Agnes Redick, 87, will be held 1 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2007, at the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Officiating will be Rev. John McKeown. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery and Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 -7 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Inc., P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Berkeley Dixon Redick, and her son, William Dixon Redick, she passed away Saturday, February 10, 2007. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Dollie Kelly Browder. She was a lifelong area resident. She retired from M.B. Hahn Construction after many years of loyal service. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Redick is survived by her daughter, Julie Ladd-Redick of Columbia; grandchildren, Kimberly R. Herlong and her husband, James, Berkeley D. Redick, Jeffrey T. Ladd and his wife, Michelle. Mrs. Redick also had five great-grandchildren who were deeply loved by her, Whitney, Valerie, Berkeley III, William and Dillon; one of seven children of Mrs. Dollie Revels, Mrs. Redick is also survived by her sisters, Mrs. Nancy Powell and her husband, Raleigh, Mrs. Dorothy Deese, both of Jacksonville, FL, as well as a number of nieces, nephews and devoted friends.
