Rebecca Ash was the daughter of Joseph Ash and Ann Wingate. She was born in Cecil County, Maryland about 1814. She married Sylvester Williams of Delaware. She lived in Pennsylvania and then Terra Haute, Indiana where her husband was a cabinet maker and she was a seamstress. Her husband died in 1856. Rebecca had three daughters including Fannie Williams who married William Henry Fulton. Her other daughters were Margaret (married John Bobinger) and Rebecca.
